What is this frivolity?

Well, this is Shropshire Oktoberfest, 150 Real Ales, Comedy, Live Music and Amazing Food....

And don't forget the huge lager bar, cider, and perry all topped off with prosecco parlours, gin den and mixology classes. Throw in a farmers' market and the result is THE perfect festival!

We are Shropshire Festivals. The team behind Shrewsbury Food Festival, Shropshire Pub in the Park, Shrewsbury Winter Festival, Shropshire Kids Festival and have a collective experience of over 30 years in the festival industry.

Where is it?

It's going to be in Shrewsbury's Quarry Park SY1 1RN

When is this fun going to happen?

It's happening from the 5th to the 7th October.

Friday 5th: 5pm till 10pm - Last orders at 9.30pm

Saturday 6th: 11am till 10pm - Last orders at 9.30pm

How much is it?

Entertainment, what have you got to amuse me?

Well, we have live music all weekend so you can get your groove on.. and also a comedy club to get your giggle on.. throw in a couple of Oompah bands and you will be wanting to don a pair of lederhosen and start a parade through Shrewsbury Town Centre.

And don't forget on Sunday we are having a Sunday Funday! Inflatables and fun for what we want to be the best Sunday Lunch experience of the year!

Shropshire County Showground Camping & Caravanning Site, just a 10 minute walk from Shrewsbury’s town centre . The 53 acres site offers a tranquil, picturesque location next to the River Severn with fishing rights. A 15/20 minute riverside walk to the Oktoberfest. EHU Pitches (£15 per unit per night) and Non EHU (£10 per unit per night), Male & Female Shower blocks, Water, Elsan points and well-behaved Dogs are welcome. Can I bring my dog?

No, Sorry. There is too much music and there are people consuming alcohol on site - it is not suitable for our four-legged friends. Only assistance dogs are allowed.

Can I Bring a Picnic?

Yes, you can bring a picnic and we do have ample seating on site - however please DO NOT bring alcohol onto site - we have a huge selection of alcohol for you!

In addition, if you did want to bring a picnic basket onto site - please ensure that there are no sharps in your picnic basket due to security regulations.
